This hotel is a hidden gem! The lush garden and spacious grounds offer a serene escape, with hammocks and sunbeds right by the lagoon. Simple yet stylish rooms, great service, and amazing views make for a perfect relaxation spot. Just be mindful of the basic breakfast-it's a little limited. Can't wait to return!

Fine lagoon views and friendly staff!
I loved the amazing views of the lagoon and the peaceful atmosphere . The staff were very attentive, always ready to help with our needs, especially when arranging transportation. The lack of hot water in the shower was a downside that needs addressing.

Chill vibes with great garden views
We had such a nice time here! The garden view room was comfy, and there were plenty of hammocks to relax in. The hotel was close enough to town, perfect for our strolls. Breakfast was pretty simple, just toast and fruit, but it did the job. Just wish the hot water in the shower was better.

Ideal for couples seeking tranquility
The view from our room was amazing! And the peaceful atmosphere with hammocks spread around the grounds.
It wasn't inexpensive, but still acceptable.

Here's what worked, and what didn't
Perfect service, with staff going above and beyond, even picking us up late at night after a travel mishap. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle.
Breakfast options were quite basic with little variety, and having to share a kitchen was inconvenient at times. Further, noise from nearby areas occasionally disrupted the tranquil ambiance we sought.

The Tropic Bacalar hotel offers great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The staff here are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel, just next to the lagoon, provides a stunning backdrop for relaxation. The rooms have a minimalist style, with a lagoon view, and the breakfast is included.
All in all, everything was more than satisfactory.

Located in a peaceful natural setting next to the sparkling lake, this hotel is a great place to stay. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of the lagoon from the rooms' balconies, which are stylishly furnished and comfortable. the staff provide excellent customer service, and the common kitchen is available. Kayaks and paddleboards are available for rent, and the room's smart TV and AC unit are great amenities.
The signal strength of the Wi-Fi is weak, which may cause some trouble to guests who need to stay connected.

Great view of the lagoon and decent staff. Located in a prime area near the water's edge with a lovely garden, it offers a relaxing atmosphere to ease your day's stress. the community kitchen has all that you need for your stay; everything seems clean and tidy.
The services are not worth the money spent. the rooms are tiny with no windows, no coffee pot/cups, and only had a bed, toilet, and clothes rack.
